Kiriat Arie - Petah TikvaSome 2,000 dunams for the Industrial Development Company and the Petach Tikva Municipality, for the purposes of industry and business, including office accommodation, transport center (busses and trains), and regional sports centre etc. The project constitutes, on one hand, a continuation of the existing Kiriat Arie industrial and employement zone, where a number of large hi-tech companies are already located. And on the other hand it is located along the main routes of transportation (highways and railroads), which makes it possible to develop it as a unique employement focus for hi-tech companies at the metropolitan level. The open area is spread out along a central axis that runs along the entire length of the plan (approximately 1 km), creating a central green avenue. In the areas of the plan a suburban station, a Metro station and a regional bus station are planned. The municipal central promenade offers a variety of services, restaurants, stores, banks and a post office, hotels, movie theaters, museums, sports facilities, etc., creating a sort of mini-city where employees and sojourners will be able to find all they desire. The principal upper construction and service areas within the boundaries of the plan cover an area of some 950000 square meters, and the lower construction areas some 880000 square meters. All of the employment buildings are “smart” buildings in an environment containing a high-caliber communications infrastructure at both the single building level and at the overall site level. The project offers an industrial park environment that lies within a landscaped park with trees and waterscapes. The project offers a post modern urban environment with regard to the design of the buildings and the defined areas, the return to streets for pedestrians (instead of highways) and the variety and historic stratification of the usage.
